		<description>When unable to access the Internet, I've sometimes written blog entries in an .rtf (or similiar) text document. When online, though, I simply use WordPress editor (non-WYSIWYG) which has the very helpful "auto save" feature.

It may take a bit of practice to learn some of the basic HTML tags for those new to blogging. But, if an individual is willing, they'll usually find a much greater degree of choice over exactly how their writing appears.
